AIX Restaurants, which owned the award-winning San Marco eatery Bistro Aix was acquired by Bistro AIX, LLC, a partnership of the owners of Ovinté restaurant in the St. John’s Town Center. Bistro AIX opened in 1999, and was owned and operated by Terry Schneider, Mike Schneider and Ann Riley. The Bistro AIX owners, in a joint statement, said they reached a point in their lives where they saw the need to put into place a succession plan to ensure the continued success of the restaurant.
