Doug Kravet is a principal at Heritage Capital Group, where he advises middle-market companies on mergers and acquisitions and strategic transactions. Since 1996, he has built deep experience across a broad range of industries, including industrials, food and agriculture, business services, healthcare, construction and engineering, manufacturing, and distribution. At Heritage, he has led and executed numerous transactions, bringing a pragmatic, results-oriented approach to complex deal environments.
Over the course of his career, Doug has advised business owners and management teams on transactions, capital raising, value enhancement, and long-term strategic planning. In recent years, he has concentrated on the industrials sector, with a particular emphasis on metals distribution, processing, and recycling. He has played a key role in building and expanding the firm’s coverage in this sector. Prior to this focus, Doug served as Global Head of Agriculture at Oaklins, where he led the firm’s organic and sustainable agriculture specialty group. Doug also is a past member of the Oaklins Executive Committee.
Earlier in his career, Doug focused on transaction support and valuation and advisory engagements for privately held companies, primarily in the Southeastern United States. He has completed more than 400 valuation and consulting assignments for businesses ranging from early-stage ventures to companies generating over $1 billion in annual revenue. Through this work, he developed extensive expertise in analyzing complex capital structures, including convertible securities, stock options, warrants, and other hybrid financial instruments.
Doug holds a B.B.A. and M.B.A. from the University of North Florida and maintains Series 7, 24, 27, 63, and 79 securities licenses.
