Dan Curran is an industry specialist with Heritage Capital Group and brings over 45 years of exemplary leadership and financial expertise within the healthcare industry.
He began his career with KPMG, where he spent more than 30 years, including over two decades as an audit and advisory partner. During his tenure, Dan served on the firm’s national healthcare leadership team and as the Southeast area leader for business and advisory services. His areas of expertise included financial statement attestation, financial modeling, process and performance improvement, corporate and regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions due diligence, and tax-exempt financing.
Dan later served as senior vice president and CFO of a large, diversified Florida healthcare system before founding Amelia Consulting Group, LLC, which provided strategic and advisory services to healthcare organizations. In 2016, he joined Brooks Rehabilitation as EVP and CFO, where he led accounting, payroll, finance, managed care, revenue cycle, and information technology functions. He also played a key role in Brooks’ new business initiatives and overall strategic direction. Dan holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Connecticut School of Business.
Demonstrating a strong commitment to community service, Dan has been actively involved with numerous organizations, including serving on the boards of Gateway Community Services, the Sulzbacher Center, JaxCare, Jax PAL, and Community Connections.
