Heritage Capital Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Patterson as a principal in its Savannah office. Kevin brings over a decade of experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), financial consulting, and deal structuring. His diverse background strengthens Heritage’s ability to deliver tailored solutions to middle-market business owners throughout the Southeast.
Kevin’s career reflects a broad expertise across buy-side and sell-side M&A, structured finance, and strategic advisory. Most recently, he served as a transaction advisor with Indiana Business Advisors, where he managed both buy-side engagements for lower middle-market companies and sell-side business brokerage assignments. He also served as a principal of Burgundy Financial, where he advised clients in alternative investment structuring and offered deal support for M&A advisors and investment banks. Earlier in his career, Kevin held leadership roles at AmTrust Financial, EisnerAmper, Northern Trust Hedge Fund Services, and RSM, where he built a reputation for excellence in financial analysis, compliance, and client service across multiple industries and geographies.
A Certified Public Accountant licensed in Florida, Kevin earned dual bachelor of science degrees in accounting and finance from Florida State University. He also holds a real estate broker license in Indiana and his FINRA SIE and 63 license. Beyond his professional work, Kevin is deeply engaged in the entrepreneurial community, serving as a past board chair of The Startup Accelerator (DBA The Speak Easy), an organization that supported innovation and early-stage businesses in Indianapolis.
