Heritage Capital Group is pleased to announce that Dan Curran has joined the firm as a principal. Dan’s broad experience in operations and management within the healthcare industry makes him a valued addition to Heritage’s growing team.
Dan joins Heritage with over 45 years of exemplary leadership and financial expertise within the healthcare industry. He began his 30-year career with KPMG where, for over 20 years, he was an audit and advisory partner and was a member of the national healthcare leadership team as well as the southeast area leader for business and advisory services. He then served as senior vice president and CFO at St. Vincent’s Health System before transitioning to consultative roles. Dan founded his own consulting firm, Amelia Consulting Group, LLC, which offered strategic and advisory services to healthcare entities. In 2016, he joined Brooks Rehabilitation, becoming their EVP and CFO, and led accounting, payroll, finance, managed care, revenue cycle, and information technology functions. He also contributed heavily to Brooks’ new business activity and strategic direction. Dan is a retired CPA and holds a BS in accounting from the University of Connecticut School of Business. His adept leadership capabilities, strategic foresight, and commitment to operational excellence make him a valuable addition to Heritage’s healthcare industry team.
