Heritage Capital Group is pleased to announce Robert Cilek as the new Director of Investment Banking Services. Robert will lead the analytical and execution efforts of Heritage’s principals engaged in investment banking activities, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic consulting. In his role, Robert will also manage and develop Heritage’s growing analyst team and internship program.
Previously, Robert was a senior analyst at Heritage’s sister company, Business Valuation, Inc., where he performed valuations of businesses for various purposes including tax planning and compliance, purchase or sale of ownership interests, management planning, and estate and gifting purposes. Robert worked closely with companies ranging from less than $1 million of annual sales to more than $1 billion. In this role, Robert also conducted purchase price allocations, prepared detailed/complex financial models, and advised clients as they developed and executed strategic initiatives to realize their long-term goals. His valuation experience included clients in technology, education, manufacturing, distribution, agribusiness, and healthcare. Robert also provided analytical support for Heritage transactions during his tenure with BVI.
Robert earned a B.S. in health services administration from the University of Central Florida and an M.B.A. from the University of North Florida. He is a licensed real estate sales associate in Florida and a member of the Estate Planning Council of Northeast Florida.
